Term 1Welcome to term This is the FLC class so basically it is a class where you should work on things that you need and at your own pace. It is also a good time to speak to me if you have any language problems or if you want to do extra assessment. Eash class I will suggest something for you to do and after that you can work on what you need most. If you want to do something completely different talk to me first.
This term I think we should concentrate on writing more on the computer when possible. If you think about it people rarely write by hand any more these days. Writing on the computer has two advantages for you . You can use the spell corrector and the grammar corrector ( which at least indicates where something is ungrammatical) and you can move paragraphs around. Today I want you to start this process by writing me a quick email. This will then mean I have your address and that you can do extra work if you like and email it to me. I can also communicate with you by email which is useful.

Remember in the top right hand corner you need to put in the username 99vilcst and under that the password tiger.If you don't do this you still get some programs but not the right ones Then go to easy news and choose one or two from the intermediate. You will need to look at the top of your screen and ALLOW RUN ONs or you will not be able to get any sound
THESE exercises ARE GOOD FOR VOCABULARY BUILDING .
3.If you have already done these or do them quickly go to the 4th column, the orange column ( second from the end of the right hand side ) called LIFE STORIES. Scroll down until you get to MANAGING LIFE and under this there is one called A courageous young man just watch the video and I will give you a paper copy of the exercises .
After this you can do what you want!!!!

Here are three alternatives to expand your vocabulary. When you come back to class I want each of you to tell me what one story you listened to or read was about and also to write on the board 3 new words you have learnt
